A short story

Once upon a time, there was a girl. She was a very mysterious girl. She was easily changed – that is, her rules were easily added on to. Her personality was always the same: strict but still flexible. She was everywhere. You couldn’t do anything meaningful without catching at least a glimpse of her. She always obeyed when someone told her to do something within her power. She was never wrong – the only mistakes she made were misunderstandings, or when people told her to do things the wrong way. People tested her limits, but there seemed to be nothing that she couldn’t do. She was impossible to break or to understand. She was incredibly sharp and intelligent. She was amazing.

She was Math.
